Great replacement for my old Serengeti glasses

I needed an replacement for my 20 year old Serengeti driving sunglasses which the lens were being scratched after so many years of use, dropped, etc. I loved the old Serengeti sunglasses that had great contrast in haze & foggy weather and was so I wanted the replacement with the same features. I noticed that Serengeti has expanded their offering of sunglasses including prescription sunglasses that didn't exist when I first bought my sunglasses. I tired other sunglasses such as RayBan, Maui Jim, Oakley, Smith Optics, Persol but trying those at an store but they didn't match optical qualities of the Serengeti. The only wished I had that could try out each of the sunglasses in outdoor environment so I can check the qualities of each. After checking all of new features from Serengeti I decided on the Polar PhD Drivers Gold and after using them after a month now and they are match of old Serengeti sunglasses optical qualities in a lighter plastic lens.

It's just what I was expecting. Wonderful product. The lens is really great. They are not for driving but are ok for sports.

Great sunglasses, fit is a little strange

Fantastic lens, super light and comfortable frame! Great for driving. The only thing is the fit seems a little weird. Maybe I'm too used to Oakleys and other sports brands and not used to the fit of driving glasses. My other pair of Serengeti (different stye) don't fit that well either. But the serengeti lens are so superior to other lens that I keep buying them.
