Ray-Ban RB8303 Tech sunglasses continue the innovation and use of new materials. This Ray-Ban Tech segment highlights the use of carbon fiber. Carbon fiber and a resin composite creates a lightweight, strong, flexible, and resilient material for Ray-Ban sunglasses. These sunglasses are a casual small square style with a rimless three piece mount construction. The Ray-Ban sunglasses are paired with slim elongated carbon fiber temples. The temples feature the metal Ray-Ban signature logo and rubber temple tips for added comfort and non-slip grip. The durable APX lenses are available in a polarized lens option with anti-reflective and hydro-oleophobic coatings for RB8303 sunglasses.

Nice for a while

I purchased these glasses June 2011. I was very pleased with the look of them and the clarity of the lenses. Then, last week out of the blue I noticed 2 cracks where the lenses connect to the bridge.I have always stored these glasses in the case and have never subjected them to any sort of trauma. I really wanted to like these glasses but, if I am going to spend 150 bucks I would like them to at least last a full year.I called the ray-ban warranty center (aka luxottica) and was informed that this was a stress fracture and it would cost me to have my glasses repaired. Not covered by warranty. I fully understand they must have some rules in place because there are idiots that will sit, step on, run over or otherwise mutilate their sunglasses and then expect a free replacement.....I am not that guy. These glasses are broken as a result of a faulty design. These glasses don't have a single scratch on them with the exception of the "stress fracture".I have no problem spending more money in order to get a quality product but these sunglasses are not quality.Do yourself a favor and purchase costa del mar or maui jim glasses. I am extremely disappointed in my ray-bans.The customer service agent was less than apologetic and made me feel like i was to blame for purchasing these glasses.

So awesomely designed and lightweight

I ordered these sunglasses without ever having tried them on (quite a bit of blind faith, you might say) and I am so happy with them! :-) They are so lightweight, durable, have no frames, fit very comfortably, sit steady while shaking my head around, have a classic and elegant design, and look fantastic on me! Ray-ban.com has these listed at $199.00; I got them via amazon.com (seller was Sunglass Express) for [...]. WHAT a TREMENDOUS deal! I should get a 2nd pair before this deal ends.

Not the best, but really good!

I am a big fan of rimless sunglasses, and this Ray Ban does the job, the silver mirror finish of the grey policarbonate lens is very good, nice shade and UV protection, great for driving; they are not polarized, or at least this is not indicated in the product, but the mirror appearence makes it look like they were so!. Very good size for my face shape & size (I'm average), they look stylish,modern,and are very light, wich a big plus... The only con that I found is that they are made in China, wich makes me doubt a little of their quality, even when they seem to have the Ray Ban classic quality... but, only time will tell! For the price paid ($114), they are a bargain, cause I've seen them sell for over $250 here in Costa Rica.
