Restrictive Return policy

I wrote the company to ask for alternatives since these were too wide for my head. No response to the first email. So I wrote again and said since they didn't respond, please send refund instructions. The response just showed the website return instructions. No personal note, no we're sorry they didn't work, nothing. Then since it was past 30 days (these were a Christmas present purchased in November) they are charging a 15% restocking fee! I finally received an informative email but the initial response was unacceptable as is the company's return policy. They do have a nice selection but penalize too heavily with returns and I will not buy from this company again.
