Good sunglassses.

I'm on the road and in and out of the car all day, everyday in sunny (VERY SUNNY) southern california. Proper polarized sunglasses are critical. These are nice and large metal frames. Nice dark grey which kills glare. I'm a bit of a sunglass hoarder now.I prefer these to my Rayban squared aviators. The grey reduces glare slightly better than the greenish polarized RB shades. The vivid "pop" you get when viewing grass, trees, and flowers is not quite to the level of brown, or green glass. But they don't cut glare as well as the greys.The frames are metal. Very stiff and shaped perfectly for my head. I had very minimal "adjusting" required to get them to fit perfectly. Raybans metal frames are very, bendy, or flexy. i prefer a stiffer, less pliable metal frame that already fit perfectly. The lense width and height are large, but suite me well, and don't look goofy, or silly. They look good. They cover my peripheral vision, and any bright light that enter from top, sides, or bottom. I'm a big fan.these are fabulous shadesThe only slight downside, in my opinion: The temples are pretty long. Significantly longer than my Mauis, Raybans, Serengeti, oakley and Smiths.I prefer a glass lens to plastic. The accuracy, or lack of distortion with good plastic is not noticeable these days, with high quality brands. These are now my favorite shades with plastic lenses. I find these lenses to be almost as good as my favorite, and what I think are the very best. Serengeti. The simple fact is that glass lenses are easier to clean, without fear of scratching or damaging them. Glass are also significantly better at avoiding, or deterring lint or dust.I asked a simple question to Kaenon CS directly recently. I was assured by Kaenon Customer service that I could have the temples bent about 2 mm for a slight adjustment. I asked the question and received a courteous and professional response in 24 hours. Not bad. Try that with a different popular sunglass brand. Good luck.Kaenon make a great sunglass. I will say that the deal I got at 149 dollars is excellent. Unfortunately, they arrived scratched and they are replacing them asap. I take nothing away from a nice product because of an issue that is getting resolved thru Amazon.Highly recommend this brand for folks that appreciate high quality, and functional sunglasses that look different, don't start with an "O" or "RB". Not inexpensive, but still a good value, even at near MSRP.
