I was looking for RB8302 and decided to look at some of the reviews. Some good some not so good. Happy to say the negative reviews were unwarranted. I was pleased and suprised that these glasses were amazing. Take for instance the dashboard on your car when the sun hits it (glair) right? The RB8302 polarized eliminates the glair and produces a flat appearance. The gradient lens tones down the brightness of the sky and makes things on the ground appear vivid.

By Josh G.
These glasses are super light and stylish. I forget I'm wearing them at times. I can't emphasize enough how light these feel.My only cautionary comment is that they don't feel very secure on my face -they almost feel TOO light at times, and the temples don't grip my noggin as securely as other name brand glasses I own. For example, my Oakley Juliets feel very secure when worn, while these feel a bit more loose and more likely to come off an an inopportune time. I wouldn't be comfortable wearing them during any kind of vigorous activity, but for bumming around town, they're awesome. All in all, a great pair of glasses.

By Steven P. Silvestri
I have always been an Oakley fan. After loosing a few pairs shortly after i bought them i decided to stick with the cheap 15$ sun glasses from the mall kiosk's. After years of inferior quality i got into the habit of taking better care of my optics. My Fiance and I are getting married next month, and going to vegas to tie the knot. We just went shopping a few weeks ago and decided to pick up some new sun glasses for the trip. After much consideration i ended up with the Ray Ban 8302 with Polarized P3 Plus Lenses.I love the Aviator Style, and knew that I was looking for a "more squared off version" of the classic rounded aviator. I did a TON of research when deciding what glasses to buy. Afterall this was going to be a big investment for me! I narrowed it down to three choices. The Oakley Crosshair 2.0, Oakley C-Wire, and Ray Ban Tech Series Aviator. When I showed up at the store I went right to the Oakley Section, as they have never failed me in the past. The Crosshair 2.0 were suprisingly stiff, VERY Sturdy, and looked nice. not a lot of give to them. Same thing with the C-Wire, which were slightly lighter than the Crosshair. Both hinge systems were sturdy and seemed like they would hold up, and the lenses were exactly what i expected from oakley. The third pair of glasses I wanted to try on were the Ray Ban RB8302 Carbon Fibre Tech Series Aviators. From the second I picked them up they seemed about half the weight of the oakleys. I slid them on my face and almost instantly fell in love with them. The fit was superior to that of the oakleys as the carbon fiber side stems had more give to them and seemed to grip my temples at just the right pressure. The lenses seemed clearer than that of the oakleys (the Crystal P3 Plus Polarized Lenses). The 2 biggest factors that I noticed right away was the weight difference, and the lense quality. The glasses feel so light on my face, and the lenses are so clear that somtimes I forget i'm wearing them. I love the added scratch resistance from the glass lense, and the extreme durability of the Carbon Fiber as I am hard on glasses. Also, the Ray Ban's come with a Carbon Fiber "Pouch" (it's not a hard case, but it's not a bag... it's like a Leather Fold Over Pouch) and also come with a carbon fiber designed microfiber cleaning cloth. The Oakley's only came with a microfiber bag.The choice was clear, and I ended up buying the Ray Ban RB8302 004/N8 58[]15 3P Polarized with P3 Lenses. The glasses have a Gun Metal color frame (it's like a Silver Carbon Fiber) and it's actually a really cool look. It gives almost a "Tweed" Retro look to the glasses, with a high tech twist. I didnt even need to try on the oakleys a second time. The Ray Ban's were the obvious choice. My Fiance also ended up with a pair of Ray Ban's and is equally as happy as I am with her pair.I must note, this is the first pair of Ray Ban's that I have owned, and they have me hooked. I am so extremely happy with the product and I think I like them more every time I put them on. I've already gotten many compliments on them, and they are a true Joy to wear! This is also the first pair of glasses I have ever owned with a Crystal Glass Lense, and i must say that it is certainly superior to any polycarbonate lense I've ever owned.I am going to rate these glasses a 5/5 as I honestly can't find one single flaw with them. They are truely the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned, and I honestly feel like they are worth every penny i spent for them (229$).
