I use these glasses for surfing and they work ok in certain conditions. When I ride my short board and am constantly paddling and breathing hard the glasses fog up. But on days when the waves are small and I take my long board out and just end up sitting for most of the time watching for the waves to come in the glasses work ok. Regardless of the conditions, water will build up on the lens (even with the use of rainX ) and you vision is never 100% clear.

What makes these sunglasses great for me is that they stay on my head and the lenses are great quality (I have the brown tinted ones).I do some pretty extreme kitesurfing. Often, I'm spun underwaterup my some pretty gnarly whitewater or I wipeout from a big trick at speed and my head goes skimming across the water.I have never once lost my SeaSpecs in 1 year of multiple wipeouts (I kite 3- 5- days a week).Their customer service is great too. Last week, I hit a braking wave at high speed and the water impacted my face at full force, causing the left lens to blow disappear into the ocean never to be seen again.I contacted SeaSpecs and after sending then a photograph of my sunglasses, a lovely lady called Wendy replaced the lens and did not even charge me shipping. Considering that my sunglasses were almost a year old, I am really impressed with theiur customer service.

They fit very well, leaving no gaps where the sun gets through. They're also very comfortable. Downsides are that they're pretty ugly, they leave a nasty looking sun tan line (very low on the face), easily get gunked up with sunscreen and of course they fog up sometimes. The latter two nits are not specific to these glasses. All in all I'll still wear them because you can't put a price on eye protection.
