Possibly the best sunglasses that I have owned.- Good optical quality. Amber improves contrast. Polarization reduces glare.- Wrap-around design protects eyes and preserves peripheral vision.- Rubber grips on nose and ears prevent glasses from sliding.- Plastic frames make them light in weight, durable, and flexible. My only complaint is that they fit too tightly, but I have a big head (7-3/8 hat) so I applied some heat to the stems to reshape them to fit more comfortably.

I used to buy the polarized fishing glasses at Wally World. I still would, except that in a small town the selection and availability are very limited, and they won't special order for you. So, with the help of the reviews here (thank you), I decided to try these. At $14.40 ea (with free shipping) I ordered four pair.I wear sunglasses whenever I'm outside. I buy a lot of cheap sunglasses rather than one pair of expensive ones (it hurts when you break them, lose them or scratch the lenses). Doing this review made me realize what a huge inconsistency in product there is where I used to buy cheap sunglasses. I always tried to buy the same/similar style, but now I don't think they were even mnfg'd by the same company. They come in the same package, but it's like a jobber buys whatever is around and packages them with his label. I've had glasses that were OK and others that variously hurt my ears, pressed into the sides of my head, dug into my nose, pushed off my face, flew off my face (not doing athletics), slipped down my face, and sat cockeyed. I've had rubber pads pop out, glued on pads slip around and fall off, and glasses without rubber pads. A few had the frame color painted on - the paint pealed off leaving me walking around with paint chips on my face. And, of course, some with lenses that pop out.I've had these for about a month and have not experienced any problems so far. The lenses are narrower (in height) than I like, but they do the job. The tinting is good, polarization works well and they claim to block 100% UV A&B. A snug, comfortable fit and rubber pads on the temples and nose piece keep them secure. The temples bow around my head (no pinching) and curve in at the ears. The plastic is pliable enough to hold well but not be uncomfortable. They are pretty light and at first I thought flimsy, but they are stable, tight, and don't twist and bend. Hopefully they last a few more months, until the lenses are too scratched up to see out of. What more could I want from cheap sunglasses (except some scratch resistance)?. . . P.S. I've started adding the price to my reviews. I find it quite useful to see price history.Update 10/06/12 Still on my first pair! These glasses have lasted much longer than I thought they would. The lenses are not yet all scratched up, they're still tight in the frame and the frame is still tight.

I was looking for a pair of cheap sunglasses to use while mountain biking. I routinely break them. These things are awesome. They fit nice and snug and the clarity is as good as other, more expensive sun glasses.
