I am giving these glasses 3 stars, simply because you will get what you pay for, perhaps slightly less. Shipping was much faster than promised -- maybe 10 days or less? It was direct from China, believe it our not -- and they were probably hedging their bets with initial 3+ week delivery estimates (in case of any customs holds). It does almost nothing for halo or starburst; mine are mild, but the wife has it bad. Still, you can't really expect night vision from glasses under $20. Serious night driving improvement would be a feat at any price. The glasses are otherwise of decent quality, with a nice little case and cleaning cloth. They are in fact polarized, but, only in the yellow color band.It is funny, because they send a sample piece of unpolarized lenz material for comparison, and a little polaring test "cartoon" with a plainly visible fisherman -- the fish is supposed to fill-in if you tilt it just right. The cartoon works fine with my name brand dark polarized shades, but it does not work with these glasses, because the yellow tint/polarizing is so faint.I did prove to myself that they are polarized by looking at my computers flat panel LCD. As I tilted my head, the screen color shifted from light yellow to a much darker, richer yellow. It can't cut glare across a broad spectrum with just a single color filter like yellow. So, they are okay if you are not expecting miracles. We will probably use them as shooting glasses. The lenses are plastic, claim to be impact resistant, and cover the eyes well (large avaitors for me and small ones for the wife.I think I will see if I can find a name brand with progressive tint and polarizing next time.
