By E. Carbone
This is my second pair of Sunclouds. I had the first pair for about 5 years until I managed to lose them at a crowded festival -- presumably some lucky person is now getting good use out of them! I've found that this brand is the best compromise between suffering with cheap, $10-$15 drug store sunglasses and blowing $100 or more on "status symbol" sunglasses. In other words, excellent value.I got this pair with the gray lenses and black frame. They have a modern-yet-classic style that you really can't go wrong with, provided that you like the wrap-around look. I prefer it, in part because it's better at blocking light in the periphery. The description says that these are "large fit frame," but they seem to be of medium size to me. As for the lenses, I would also describe them as medium. They are not of the oversized variety that came back into style a few years ago. The nose pads and temple tips are very comfortable due to a smooth, soft rubber-like material. The frames are very light, adding to the comfort. These are polarized and therefore glare isn't a problem. I could immediately tell a difference between these and a pair of non-polarized Fossil sunglasses I have. They come with the usual Suncloud soft bag, which also can be used to clean them.Best of all, I got these at half of list price due to an Amazon sale. At that price, they absolutely cannot be beat.

By Jeremy Callahan
I've been trying to find a Suncloud dealer nearby (no REI in my area, and no one else seems to carry them) but I had heard good things about the glasses (rumored to be a subsidiary of Smith), so I took a chance and ordered online. As for the quality, definitely top notch for sport glasses. Some people might be put off by the plastic hinges, but I find it preferable to the metal. They aren't as smooth, but the metal ones don't seem to take the abuse. Keep that in mind for what you're going to do in them. The lenses are great, the polarization is top notch, the lenses don't rattle, and the tacky nose pads and ear pads are high quality material.I'm mainly focusing on the fit, however, for other fools like me who try to buy things like sunglasses online. I have a huge head. HUGE. If I had a Scottish grandfather, he would have named me "Sputnik". I wear an XL motorcycle helmet and a 7 5/8 hat. Huge. BUT, my head is oval (when looking down from above) and I actually am limited in the brands of glasses and rigid hats I can wear. Huge! These glasses are labeled as "Large Fit" and I think they are a bit too wide for my face, they gap out to the sides pretty far, but I do have a comfortable fit on the arms as they reach around my ears. The arms do angle down near the ends, but not a true wrap-around-the-ear situation, and that actually fits me (I've had glasses in the past that angle down because they can't make it past my ears). But, since may face is more narrow (but still rather big) the glasses are a bit too wide for me.Granted, they don't leak in light from the sides, and they stay on rather well, so I'll probably keep them for Kayaking (the original need), but I think they are too wide to be stylish (not comical, but my head is comical on it's own). I'm not saying they are too wide for everyone, I understand that some people actually have a wider face than I, but I am trying to help other people who are foolish enough to shop for glasses online.

By Easton
These sunglasses are great! I have a big head and was nervous about buying them without trying them on, but they fit perfectly. I immediately tested the polarization.... works like a charm! I am a bit of a nerd and I was really excited that they work, physics is cool! If i had something bad to warn you guys about, i would, but these are an unbeatable price and high quality.
