Wear them every day!
By Gunboat
I've had these glasses for quite some time now and have worn them pretty much every day. They have been through many a foot pursuit, fighting with suspects, traffic stops, dynamic entries, warrant services, and countless hours of training and on the range. They just got their first scratch on the lenses, and it was my stupid fault! I took them off, put them on top of my passenger seat patrol bag, forgot they were there, drove off, and they slid against a sharp corner of my metal ticket book holder, just the wrong way!!!! Well, after having them now for like 2 years, and this is the first time they have been damaged in the slightest, I thought they deserved a good review. Would definitely by em again.

Very pleased with these sunglasses
By Stan
I've just bought a second pair of these sunglasses after loosing previous pair. The first pair I bought about 3 years ago in a specialized store. This time I bought from Amazon and paid less. So, here is a summary of my 3 year experience with them:Pros:+ Good build quality, co cracks in plastic+ Joints stay strong, no loosening (most common trouble in most glasses)+ No coating layers that come off+ Good scratch resistance. My glasses got abused by beach sand, salt water and lengthy hikesCons:- Some painted information, like brand name, "Made in ..." got worn out over time. No big deal for meThings to watch for:* As with many other personal items, try them on before buying to see if they fit perfectly* Glasses are not dark enough if you plan to hike high altitudes with bright snow* Limited lifetime warranty has little real value (replacement fee, shipping costs, etc.)Other thoughts:* IMHO, I think it's better to buy 1 pair of these sunglasses than 2-3 pairs of cheap ones at a grocery store* Cleaning and care. I rarely use included piece of soft clothes. If sunglasses get fingerprints or get oily, I just wash them in warm water with mild liquid soap. I finish cleaning process with gentle wipe using regular bath towel.Resume: these sunglasses deliver everything I expect from them at a reasonable price. Therefore, I am giving them 5 stars.

Fit just right, provide great sun protection.

Sunglasses are an intensely personal selection. Face shape varies so widely. I had a pair of Gargoyles back in the 90s that I absolutely loved. I could never quite find another pair I liked as much. These come close. They are very comfortable. The tint is just right. The polarization is definitely worth it. The lenses are large enough to block most light but not so large you look like a dufus (many Aviator styles). The sidebars are wide enough and wraparound enough to block light from the side of your eye, but not too huge, which not only looks weird but gives you racoon face. Best of all, they are not too expensive.Try them on and see if you agree. You might, you might not, but they are worth trying.
